Announcing 2nd Tuesday
Detroit doesn't need another networking event. It needs a room where the city's builders think together, build together, and hold each other accountable. Starting now, that room has a name, an address, and a standing date: 2nd Tuesday, the newest initiative of the Groove Community Campus.
Every second Tuesday of the month, from 7 to 9 PM, business owners, civic leaders, and entrepreneurs gather at the CashFlow Quadrant — 7404 Dexter Avenue, the campus classroom — to think together, do deals, and shape policy, with accountability that outlasts the handshake.
How a night runs
Every gathering follows the same two-hour rhythm, so members always know what the room will give them: open networking, a policy pulse check, a main program alternating between featured speakers and facilitated roundtable think tanks, an exchange floor for wins, needs, and joint-venture pitches, a fifteen-minute learning lab, and a closing commitment for the month.
Who's already at the table
2nd Tuesday didn't start from scratch. Its founding cohort — closed in March 2026 with twelve members — spans construction and development, energy, law, real estate, civic office, education, and nonprofit leadership. General membership is open at $25 per month and includes every monthly meeting, in person or virtual, the WhatsApp community, policy briefings, and the member directory.
The room meets on the same block the chapter is rebuilding — three doors on Dexter Avenue, from the Cornerstone to the Groove B&B. That's the point: 2nd Tuesday puts Detroit's builders inside the neighborhood their work should serve.
