groovedetroit.org is the website of the Detroit Gye Nyame Graduate Chapter of Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Inc. This policy describes, plainly, what this site does and does not do with your information.
What We Collect
Very little. This is a static informational website. It has no user accounts, no comment sections, and no forms that submit data to us. It does not set cookies of its own and does not run analytics or advertising trackers.
Like most websites, the server that hosts this site may keep standard access logs (such as the IP address and page requested) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are not used to identify or profile visitors.
Email You Send Us
The "contact", "newsletter", and "press" links on this site open your own email program. If you email us — for example, to ask a question or to join the newsletter list — we receive whatever you choose to send, and we use it only to respond and, if you asked, to add you to our mailing list. Ask at any time to be removed, and we will remove you. We do not sell or rent contact information.
Third-Party Services
A few parts of the site are provided by third parties, which have their own privacy policies:
- Google Fonts. The site's typefaces load from Google's font servers, so your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads.
- YouTube. Some pages embed YouTube videos. YouTube (Google) may set cookies or collect data when you view or play an embedded video.
- Donorbox. Donations are processed on donorbox.org. Any information you provide when donating is handled by Donorbox and its payment processors under their privacy policies — this site never sees or stores your payment details.
Children
This site is a general-audience informational site and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If our practices change — for example, if we add a real newsletter signup form — we will update this page and its effective date.
